I've been a bit slow this week with getting things done. My week was thrown out of wack with my youngest daughter needing to see a specialist about an issue that had the potential to be serious. Thankfully it wasnt and the specialist was able to easily help her.
During the week I had a few cards made from the newest release of the Frantic Stamper Precision dies, featured over at their blog. Here is the first card ...
The second release of dies features an amazing gears collage which I cut and used as a stencil to ink the background of my card. The collection also contains a selection of indicidual gear dies that I cut and embossed with a Faux Rust embossing powder before adhering to my card front.
The second card is my personal favourite ...
This card was made as a centre step card with additional pieces cut from plain white cardstock instead of patterned paper so that I could ink and stamp on them. The Vintage dress form is another of the new release dies from Frantic Stamper that comes in two parts - the solid form (I cut mine from vintage book pages) and the wire dress form.
The French silhouette along the bottom is in fact a Memory Box die - that was made and is sold exclusively by Frantic Stamper.
Here is the last card ...
This card was every so much fun to create. The background was a complete accident in its creation, an experiment with inking, stamping, using stencils and a layer of Rock Candy over the surface!
This afternoon I had big plans for an afternoon of more cardmaking but its so darn cold outside and it seems so much nicer to rug up on the couch with a thick blanket that I don't think anything will get done at all!
PS. If you et the chance, pop on over to the Frantic Stamper blog and say a big hello to our newest Design team member, Rozy!!
