Digi Share

I'm really not sure whats happened to the past week. Truly?!?  I think KI blinked and it just disappeared.  I wish I could say I've been really busy with a tonne of stuff for work or the like but in truth I have no excuse other than a certain Itunes game has taken a great deal of my life away!!  Its called Dragonvale and I have been so obsessed about creating the elusive rainbow dragon that frankly, nothing else has mattered.

Incredibly wasteful really, especially since I still dont have a rainbow dragon.  Anyone else out there play this game?  do you have any tips for how to get one?

So anyway,  I have a few things running through my mind to create but for now I wanted to just share one of the digi pages I created within the Jessica Sprague classes ...

I really love the classes jessica runs and over the Christmas holidays, hope to finish them all!!

Digi pages

I just finished torturing my dog - with his brush! His fur was so knotty that he really hated being brushed. He was good though, he just sat there and helped when I pulled but didn't try to run away. I guess he's learning that there's no point!!
Anyway, I wanted to share some more of the pages I created with the Jessica Sprague classes. I've been really enjoying refreshing my skills with these classes ...

I have a couple more to finish off but have kind of lost the desire to do them ATM. Instead I've been making cards!!

Today I found this awesome iPad app. It's called Dropbox and it involves installing a program on my laptop that enables me to access a free online storage. It only has a 2gb file size but that's fine by me because I can use it to move files and photos between my iPad and my computer. One of the biggest limitations I have found with my iPad has been the connecting it to the computer then using iTunes to download and print but with this app all I have to do is upload then I can actually access the files anywhere from my home computer to a friends or even at work - anywhere where there is Internet access!! I'm loving it already!
I've been using my time lately to try and catch up on some things. Things like sharing pages and things I created awhile ago and never got around to sharing. Like these pages ...

So that's it. I have more to share but I really need to finish off editing the photos first!

Digi Scrapbooking

It seems like ages since I've done digi pages.  I think the time has just gotten a bit beyond me and it kind of got forgotten.  BUT  Jessica Sprague re-released newer version of her original digi classes and I decided to re-go through everything with my latest version of Photoshop to spruce up my own skills as well as get a bit more sure of the new parts in CS4.

Now seems like the perfect time too because I feel so dreadful.  I've had this awful flu since last week and it just seems to be getting worse.  I had the doctor out tonight though and he's got me on medication now so hopefully I'll be much better.

Anyway, here are the first pages I have created using the revised course skills and materials -

Another Catch up

I'm meant to be doing my ESL homework right now, a course I've been doing with my work.  I kind of strayed a wee bit though.  I was going really well at first, then I had to check something out on Ebay and suddenly I found a whole heap of reasons for doing anything else.  Right now I'm kinda jonesing for painting my nails over finishing off the homework!!  Is this what our kids go through everyday??

I know I have to finish it - I will - eventually!  For now though, sit back because I want toshare some stuff I've been up to.

First, last sunday was my card class in my home.  We created two cards during this time -

This isn't all I wanted to share though, I also have the last of my digi pages to share.  The ones I created in the last class of my Digi in Deeper course.

 

These are more of the photos that my Mum has been converting over from slides.  Its been a real kick seeing these photos, especially the ones of Mum and Dad.

Not much I can say about that one really?!?  It wasn't exactly in my comfort zone writing about myself!

Well, I guess I better get going - back to the homework?  I think ... not!  At least for a bit longer.

 

Digi in Deeper

I am a week behind in my digi course  -whats new right?!?  I bought myself an ipad finally while they are really cheap so I've been on that instead of doing what I probably should be doing!  Oh well!!

I have however got a few of the course pages finished and wanted to share them -

My sister and I in Malaysia.  my mum bought one of those do-hickeys that change slide images to digital images and has been converting all the old photos from our childhood.  Here is another -

The next one is my favourite because its actually my mum who looks very similar to one of my sisters -

GRR!!

Yep!! I'm whinging!! So much to do and so little time to do it in!!  I've written a list and I reckon if I stayed up all night till Wednesday then I may finish it, worse I bought myself a puzzle book last week that I can't imagine ever getting to atm.

Anyway, having that all out of my system - I want to share some digi pages I made this week in a Jessica Sprague course "Digi in Deeper".  I was a bit sceptical about this course because of time but also because I figured there wasn't much left to learn.  BOY was I surprised in the first lesson!!  So, so far there have been three lessons released within the course and I have managed to finish the first two.

A Huge Share!!

I kinda forgot that the club newsletter for Scrappit was released this week and have'nt shared any of the work I did for it.  So, without any ifs or buts here they are ...

I love this card because I used the packaging from one of the sticker sets to make its background and I kinda felt that was clever!!  In the pack also, there were all these diecut butterflies which I have gone crazy layering to create these big multi-winged things!!  For the instructions on how I created this card, click here for the download.  Here are the pages I created as well ...

 
 
 

 

 

 

Lastly, I created this decorated folder to hold all my Nestabilities dies.  The folder comes from the Kaisercraft range and I added in some of their resealable pockets inside to holde each of my sets...

Last week the weekly Scrappit newsletter featured one of my Digi pages in the DT inspiration section.  Here it is ...

 

I really liked making this page because of all the fun elements I used, including the kinda fun title!!  This week I also had another page featured in the newsletter although it was a paper page for a change ...

 

From the moment I saw the Basic Grey - Curio - I was hooked!!  I love this range to bits and very quickly ordered as much of it as I could get then scrapped up a storm with it!!  In all, I created a lot of cards and pages but I'm going to wait to share them as they are released in the weekly Scrappit newsletter!!
