My goodness, a whole week has passed and I havent visited. For the better part of this week though I have been feeling pretty yuck. I thought it was one of those gastro virus thingys but after going to the doctors finally on friday I found out its actually my tablets for my heel. I have developed an allergy or sensitivity to them so that by friday I was vomiting and aching because of them. Of course in typical me style I kept on taking them without a clue until the doctor told me.
Anyway, over at Scrappit they are running a competition this month that invovles creating a page based on a sketch. The sketch also comes as a digi template for those digi enthusiasts like me. Here is my page I created to share -
If you'd like to join in you can find more details at the Scrappit blog, including a copy of the sketch. If you'd like a digi template of the sketch you can download it from here.
In addition to being sick and working on my Scrappit stuff I have also been consumed by my teaching. Check out my work space atm -
My area is made up of 3 different workspaces. This is only one of them - filled with my wishfull thinking scrapbook jobs. The ones I compiled for me to work on but havent quite got there yet!
And then here is area 2 - The disks are out because I am in the process of creating dvd backups of all my elements for digi work. The folder and stuff is all school work.

This is the third and final of my work area's - well a part of it. To the right is my laptop where I am sitting right now and of course my printer and stuff. If you look closely you'll notice a little looksy of the new August Club Scrappit pack. I've only just begun working in it which is why its sitting there. Next to it, is my new little toy which I love!!
Its a digi pen and its amazing. It works like a normal pen except that it records everything you write or would hear digitally and then once connected to your puter uploads it. If you choose everything can then be converted from handwriting to type with the click of a button!! I wanted it for ages to write notes with for work - especially and training days - but also to upload my sketches as I create them!! I finally got one last week when Officeworkd had them out at a huge sale price.
Oh and I have to admit I also love playing at the moment with one of the demo's on the pen. You select the demo and it tells you how to draw a piano top which you can then play!! Amazing stuff!!
Finally, I have been working through the new Jessica Sprague course - Brush Abilities. Its been pretty amazing so far. Here's one of the things I created -
The image above is in png format so if you like it you are more than welcome to save a copy of it. The brushes used to create it were -
Floral stroke by Noniq
Stamp-pad Brush by Nancy Rowe Janitz
Well I guess thats it for me!!
