Hiya, I have heaps to share tonight but before I do I just want to share this -
Yes!! Thats my street - but thankfully not my house!! A couple of hours ago we had an urgent knock at the door, it was our friends from across the street whose kitchen was on fire. Matt ran over to help get a fire blanket over the stove where the fire was still burning to try and contain it while I came after to get them all to bloody well get out of the house!!
In the few short minutes the fire was ablaze, the house filled with so much smoke you could barely see inside which is kind of a scary prospect and one that definately has me thinking about all the fire training we give kids.
Thankfully, only their stove was damaged by the fire. Thankfully the fire crew were very quick and very efficient. Two trucks arrived, followed closely by an ambulance when they saw how smoke affected Matt and Deone were.
Anyway, on to other less dramatic stuff - Sarah had her first dance concert yesterday -
she was so excited and nervous about the whole thing.
Her first item was to do the fling with other new beginner dancers. She finished off her part then with a fairy dance -
She was so terribly cute at it all!!
Last weekend I went to a Kaszazz training day. I am very intrigued and interested in this stamp company as I love the idea of purchasing single unmounted stamps rather than bulky kits. I have so many stamp now that I need to really think about storage effectively!!
Anyway, here is the things that I created on the day -
